Damaris Weiler: How about using a damp sponge to use to remove fur from furniture. It will clump up the fur and then can be lifted off.But the first step involves grooming your cat. Simply brushing really is not the solution since that only takes off surface fur. You want to get off the undercoat. And if a short haired cat, a flea comb or a Zoom Groom is very good, and if a long haired cat, then a pin brush. The pin side gets off undercoat, and the brush side surface fur. Often, when you start grooming, it seems to get worse, but soon levels off.My suspicion is that a handheld vacuum will not have enough power....Show more
Kenneth Blacker: I find that vacuums aren't always super effective. Firstly, you need to focus on cat grooming. If regular baths aren't possible (every two weeks), then try a waterless shampoo (I use pethead cat waterless shampoo). Frequent brushing with normal grooming brushes and my favourite - the "furminator"- is very important so that t! he hair comes off when you want it to- and not all over your furniture. Here's a website I've frequently used for hair removal, but the velcro trick has been the best for me. Regularly cleaning linens and removable pillow covers is the simplest and easiest way to clean off cat hair in my opinion....Show more
Darrel Stele: Usually, that's too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and other people can't.
Rachell Meese: long hair tends to make you look more nicer and sweet and short hair you look such as a little girl.
Rona Ising: I have two cats. One with long hair, one with short. A Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner is the best. I used to have a Hoover and then bought the Dyson to see if it was worth the raves and price point. I vacuumed the whole house using the Hoover, then vacuumed again using the Dyson. I had to empty the container several times because of the left over cat hair and dirt the Hoov! er did not pick up. Spend the money on a Dyson...it truly is w! orth it.
