Is it true, as Oprah Winfrey says, "doing good actually makes you better"..or it's merely a smart wordplay?

Logan Bero: I think Oprah is a phoney, but I am absolutely convinced that "doing good actually makes you better" without a shadow of a doubt. It makes me feel better about myself. I believe that it improves the body's immune system. It increases my appreciation of others as real people. It gives mutual joy. I know God approves of it. Jesus said to "store up your treasure in heaven" which means doing good. God remembers all your good deeds forever.
