I've never been to AC, but if they're half as paranoid about underage gambling as they are in Vegas, you can count on being carded regularly. The first time I went to Vegas, I was carded nearly every time I sat down at a table. Matt Gerdeman: I know this might sound like a crazy pun but the lady may have had a "soft" 17. Soft hands consist of an ace and a 7 or lower because the next card, no matter how big, goes over 21, the ace will be reverted from an 11 to 1 so it's easier to hit on a hand without busting.Ace and 6 (soft hand, which usually it's safe to pull to get higher than 17)Ace, 6, and hit to reveal a 4 = 21.Now, let's say it hit like this..Ace, 6, and hit to reveal King = 17. So it ended up with same amount without busting the hand. So it's usually safe. But it's surely odd the dealer was giving the player direction though so that is kind of weird. Shan Lanen: I have been to casinos before I turned 21. Generally, it is easy to get into the casino, and even play the slots. However, recently, I have noticed that they have been carding quite frequently at the card games. There must be some push to clamp down on underage gambling.As far as cashing out it concerned, I have never had a problem or been carded there. It seems that they assume you have already been processed by the time you go to cash out. I recently went to vegas and through my whole stay there I only played roulette and over all I won about $4,000 but kept playing and left with about $2,000, all with just $200 out of my own money. The way I was playing was, I would wait for a good time to place my bet. For exmaple I was only playing red or black, I wouldn't play the inside bets. I would wait for a good streak of either red or black and then place my bet on the opposite color. I would play $100 dollar bet on either red or black at one point I would even play $500 on red or black and won, that was very exciting. Dulcie Edis: in some state you can choose the box that says 2 number pick.but that is in only a few state..most of them you have to have all three.if you choose straight then it has to come in straight if you choose straight / box than it can come in any way and if it came in straight you would win half..say you brought a ticket for dollar and if you choose straight and it came in that way you would win 500buck..but if you choose straight box and it came in straight you would win 250 but if it came in backwards you would win 40 bucks..it works on the principal that you pay payed 50 for the straight and 50 cents on the anyway it comes in...Show more

I used to sit next to my best friend while she played and never got carded and my little sister played (she has more guts than me).
