Cooking a Turkey Question?

Donovan Stallons: Yeah, you can!

Karl Jantzen: Yeah definitely cook it on low, because it is still frozen. high temp would burn it before completely cooking it. Also if you cook it on a lower temperature it will keep more of its juices and it will keep its yield and not shrink compared to if it was on a high temperature. mmmm turkey yummo! :)

Verena Koop: Set it in a sink or pan or tepid water, and change every 30 minutes. Working with it, by changing the water inside the cavity more often. Be sure to remove all the turkey parts that might be stuffed inside the bird. then you can cook at 325 for normal time. Cooking with a partially thawed bird is not a good idea. Some will just be done, while parts will be overcooked and dry.
