Porfirio Gartland: There is no way to "trick" her. If you go to a reputable shop (which I obviously recommend) they will need her to be present in order to sign for the piercing. I have turned away parents who wanted to sign for their kids because they were so drunk (or on drugs, I couldn't tell, but I knew they were not in their right mind) and they had no idea what they were signing for.

Proietto: Wait until you're old enough to do it yourself, otherwise, every time she does look at you and see the piercing, it'll start her out all defensive and she may never really trust you as it is, which will give you a headache when you really want her opinion on something. You can also offer to pay for it, explain how you'll care for it and why you specifically want one. Doing that, let my folks 'allow' me to have more piercings and they even paid for some of them.
